Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is a technique that allows large language models (LLMs) to retrieve and use specified external information when generating responses.
Selite
It combines the model’s internal knowledge with up-to-date, domain-specific content from external databases. RAG-enables models to search from a specified set of documents and then generate answers based on both the retrieved content and their own knowledge. RAG allows for traceable information sources and supports continuous updates.
